NP12-12FR features a more heat-resistant plastic, the flame retardant (FR) option.

This plastic case is standard ABS (UL94:V0) it is subjected to the tests of vertical combustion for UL 94V - O flammability classification

A classified substance UL 94 V-0 shall:

• Have any sample that burns more than 10 seconds after the application of the flame
• Not to burn more than 50 seconds in time accumulated after 10 exhibitions in the flame
