Published on 04/10/2015
Battery Yuasa NP7 - 12-lead waterproof, 12V 7Ah is probably the most used battery in the world, adapted to many uses as alarms, gates, cars for kids, inverters...
It comes in three models in order to better adapt to the technical constraints of multiple uses.
Its shape does not change, it has become the norm for batteries 12V 7Ah and 9Ah even in other brands. 151 mm long,. 65 mm wide and 97.5 mm high included lugs.
Its weight does not vary and remains to 2.5 Kg.
The differences:
NP7-12
Yuasa battery Np7 - 12 is first and foremost a 12v and 7 amp hour sealed lead battery.
The NP7-12 being the base reference it has lugs Faston 4.7 mm as the Np7-maintenant and shell ABS plastic (UL.94:HB) standards as NP7 - 12 L.
This versatility allows it to be compatible with a large number of weakly demanding applications.
NP7-12 L
The NP7 - 12L has lugs Fast On more LARGE of 1.65 mm than np7-12 standard hence the name NP7-12 (L). These terminals of 6.35 mm wide are used primarily in inverters where the applications with a high current.
NP7-12 FR
The NP7-12FR have a more heat-resistant plastic shell, which is the option Flamme Retardante (en).
This plastic hull is standard ABS (UL94:V0) it is subjected to the tests of vertical combustion for UL 94V - O flammability classification
A classified substance UL 94 V-0 shall:
- Have any sample that burns more than 10 seconds after the application of the flame
- Not to burn more than 50 seconds in time accumulated after 10 exhibitions in the flame
- Do not have any sample with combustion with flame or incandescent above the maintenance of the test system
- Do not spray of flaming particles that enflammeraient the dry cotton located 30.48 cm below the sample
- Have no sample with incandescent combustion persisted longer than 30 seconds after the second withdrawal to the flame test
Most often used in fire, and security systems battery NP7-12FR of origin must not be replaced by a standard NP7-12.
